A bad day at the office for Town
OSSETT TOWN AFC MATCH REPORT
Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division 1 North
LANCASTER CITY 4, OSSETT TOWN 1
A bad day at the office for Town, after two encouraging results it really was down to earth with a bang, and all the Ingfield loyalists who made the trek to north Lancashire were bitterly disappointed.
After taking the lead through an own goal, Town then conceded the initiative – least said soonest mended. Lancaster (in my opinion) were no great shakes, but we continually gave possession away and the home side continually made inroads through our midfield and defence.
Just one of those days, so let’s pick ourselves up and move on, we are better than this and forthcoming games at Ingfield give us the chance to put this behind us. Please give the lads your support, they appreciate it, and just for a change I’m going to say Keep the Faith!
Martin Voakes, Vice Chairman, Ossett Town AFC
P.S. Potts Pies – meat ‘n tatties – excellent, just edging the Hollands pies at Trafford. Again just a personal appraisal from you own “Galloping Gourmet”. You don’t know what you are missing! M.V.
