OSSETT TOWN AFC MATCH REPORT
Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division 1 North
Least said, soonest mended is my motto following this “Away day” shocker.
Town were never at the races on Bank Holiday Monday, and Wakefield dominated throughout.
Several ex Ingfielders amongst the Wakefield ranks must have revelled at Town’s disarray.
Wakefield’s Tom Denton proved a real handful, and he scored two lovely goals.
Kevin Sanasy gave Town some hope when he equalised Denton’s opener just on half time with a cool spot kick, but that proved to be our only highlight.
Let’s put this behind us – an important F A Cup tie on Saturday against Glasshoughton gives the lads a chance to redeem themselves.
As ever, up the Town and Keep the Faith!
