u 19s team aiming to take Town into League Cup quarter finals for first time in at least 10 years.

The Town u 19s have experienced a super week with the triple boost of a good win against Silsden in the Northern alliance u 19 League, the news that Rowan Binns, Luke Wood and Kurt Horsfall have again been selected in the WRCFA squad and the call up to the first team, to make his debut against Farsley, of 16 year old Connor Grayson.
No doubt Town u 19 manager Nick Fletcher will be hoping that all this positive news gives a lads a boost for the crunch game against Hemsworth in next Thursday's 2nd round Northern Alliance u 19s League Cup.The tie is away at Hemsworth, who sit top of their league, but Nick is refusing to believe that the lads will come away without a victory. " Yes it will be a tough match, there is no doubt about that, but we are on a good run of form and as always this season we will be taking a talented bunch of footballers who will serve the Club with pride - make no mistake about that! These boys are on the verge of taking Ossett to a quarter final of a major cup for the first time in for many a long year but I know their character and that will not faze them. As a group we are determined to ensure that the first round 6-2 demolition of our close neighbours [Ossett Albion]does not go to waste."
