Oswestry U7 Young Eagles made the long journey to Ruthin and put in a much improved performance, especially since they have had such a long lay-off due to the snow.
They came up against a very quick and organised Ruthin outfit who had a couple of stand-out players.
4 games were played; they were scored 7-5, 14-5, 15-4 and 11-3. With an overall score of 47-17.
The coaches have noticed great improvements from a number of key players and they will hopefully build on this good work for the game away to Newport.
Coach Sam awarded player of the day to Daniel Pitt for excellent attacking play combined with some fierce tagging.
