Otley Zebras Equity & Welfare Policy
Otley is a family club, and as you would expect we take every step to ensure that our children can play sport in an environment that is free from bullying, abuse, bad language and prejudice.
We aim to ensure that all people irrespective of their age, gender, ability, race, religion, ethnic origin, creed, colour, nationality social status or sexual orientation have a genuine and equal opportunity to participate in Rugby Union, at all levels and in all roles.
In line with the Policy and Procedures for the Welfare of Young People in the Sport of Rugby Union we have appointed a Welfare Officer and implemented and published our Child Protection Policy within the club.
We have also implemented a Best Practice for all adults working with young people in the club, and all those that have regular supervisory contact with children or a management responsibility for those working with young people have undertaken an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure.Policy
