Graham is a National success !!!
Graham Bentley answered the call on saturday, as the touch judge could not continue in the second half of Otley's league match against Stockport
There are not many society referees who can claim to have made the leap directly from U9's to National League rugby in less than a week !
The second half was delayed by 5 minutes, as Graham got changed, got focussed and got aquainted with the laws of the game for senior 15 man rugby.
Luckily for Graham, there were not any controversial calls and like most good officials was largely invisible (figuratively, if not physically) as play went on around him.
Seriously, well done Graham for stepping up.
Without those amongst us who are willing to become referees, there would be no matches.
