A second half display to remember. Looked down and out at half time, but dominated the final 40 minutes throughout. Well done to the team you deserved the result. Great to see such a good turn out from the supporters as well. A good day. Come on Otley!!
It was unbearable to watch especially when we were over 20 points down at one stage, getting the try on half time was pivotal, drop kicking the fallen over ball from the penalty was vital, utter belief was crucial when with 2 mins to go we went behind again and now knowing Harrogate had won.
For Woody to catch their attempted end of game touchline kick and cut back to keep the ball in play showed maturity above his years and to finish it off some fine juggling from Rocky.
The only thing missing missing was a Luton Townesque celebration by Marc Lawrence in a cream suit.
I'm keeping playing, watching does my blood pressure no good
A brilliant result, wholly deserved on back of a great second half display.
Please, please hit the ground running next season. I think you are potentially much better than your results.
If only Sheffield tigers and luctonians had been dispatched (as they should have been) my defibrillator need not have been on stand by today.
Enjoy the moment and savour it; 38-39 results are rare, but above all else have the confidence/ arrogance to believe in yourselves!
Guys-Simply magnificent. Myself and Charlie Bowling were at the Harrogate game cheering on firstly Leicester, then Harrogate, then Leicester. Continuously texting charley Ness at Hull and Charley texting us the back, emotions we went through for 90 minutes was unbearable. From absolutely desperation to sheer joy in the space of 2 minutes. From seeing the Harrogate supporters and players delight to seeing myself and charlie, the only 2 Otley supporters jumping around with joy (and did i milk it!!). You did not only make our weekend but my 2 lads. Both Zebra players, 7 & 9 years old, now understanding the importance of never giving up. Remeber lads, you don't just do yourselves proud but everyone associated with the club, both young and old. A massive well done and thanks form someone who has not been so proud since my own playing days.
Here is to a great season next year. Train hard and continue on from what has been simply a superb achievement
Many many congratulations I didn't go as I feel I am a curse at away matches. My wife went to Harrogate so got all the ups and downs of that game. Heard that we were down badly at half time, oh dear. Then got in front then text from Gill that we had lost 34-38 so then to see last gasp try. No nails left and blood pressure off the scale. Terrifici just hope the squad stay together and am really looking forward to next season. Terrific well done to all at the club.
Hearty congratulations from Otley's lone, but enthusiastic, supporter in the South of France, Delighted that you will stay up, congratulations to all on a spiriited, morale lifting win at the end of a tough season.
