We have yet to beat Broadstreet, and although they sit second from bottom in the league they should not be underestimated. When Broadstreet and Otley played their first game against each other last November, Broadstreet were again 15th in the league. Otley raced to a 3-17 lead after 13 minutes, but then failed to make the game secure and by half time the score was 20-22. In the second half Broadstreet a further two tries and a penalty to Otley’s single try making the final score 37-27. The subsequent fixture at Cross Green in March was a tighter affair, although Otley still lost 20-22.

A win this weekend could see us rise to fourth in the league if the result between Caldy v Sandal goes our way, but more importantly it would be a third win on the bounce. The pundits have this as a home win!
