As the first flakes come down from the north, Otley make one of their longest trips of the season to Welford Road. This time we go to the south of the city, to play the 2014-15 N3M champions – a league they finished up winning 24 points ahead of their nearest rivals – Hinckley.

Leicester South’s recent form at home has been good, having won their last two games against Broadstreet (22-16) and Stourbridge (27-16), although Caldy beat them 18-25. Last week they went down 34-24 at Tynedale. Although there are four league places between our hosts and us, there is only five points between us. This points to a close game, and the pundits are split as to how it will go.

At J21 on the M1 head onto the A5460 and then the A563 (Soar Valley Way). At the roundabout take the 4th exit onto the B5418 and continue for 1.7 miles. At the approaching roundabout take the second exit onto Leicester Road and continue onto Long Road. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the B582 and then turn onto the A5199. After the roundabout the ground will be in sight on your right.
