Oundle set to face Westwood

OUNDLE skipper Joe Rice wants no let-up from his side as they head to struggling Westwood in Midlands Four East (South).
On paper, the game looks a foregone conclusion with the Owls in rampant form while Westwood have suffered some heavy losses in recent weeks.
But Rice, while knowing his side are strong favourites, wants the focus to remain.
“There is no room for complacency, we need to keep the momentum going,” he said.
“We have played very well in the last few weeks and you only score big totals like we have done by doing that.
“We cannot just turn up tomorrow and expect to win and then take our foot off the gas because then we will not be ready for bigger games to come.
“We face St Ives in two weeks, which is a massive game for us, and we want to use games like tomorrow to produce the sort of performance that will give us the right springboard for the tougher tests ahead.”
