Oundle vets made it 10 wins in a row with a convincing win against Rushden 3rds. Oundle started strongly and were camped in the Rushden 22 for the early exchanges, however they struggled to break down a spirited Rushden defence, after number 8 Dom Wyer-Roberts
picked up at the back of the scrum and made the hard yards then off loading to Andy Gregg who was scrum half for the day to go over, Richard Bell
converted. It was one way traffic from now on and Oundle were pulled back for a forward pass which would have resulted in a score. Oundle lost Skipper Dom Wyer-Roberts
to a knee injury when he was just tackled short of the line, from the resulting scrum Tony Hull who move to 8 picked up at the base and again an offload to scrum half Andy Gregg resulted in another score, Richard Bell
again converting. The second half Oundle made some changes and with scores from the hard running and stand in skipper Tony Hull and a brace from Iain Burkinshaw
on his first game of the season saw Oundle home, Richard Bell
converting 2 more. Final score 33-0
overall a great team performance, many thanks go to Rushden who played the game in a great spirit.
