The Oundle Almanac Companion of 1883,published by Alfred King of New Street oundle,lists a wide varirty of clubs and societies catering for the tastes of sporting enthusiasts within the town, and the Football Club is proud to be named.
At the conception of the club in 1883 the secretary was Mr.W.E.Dolby and the club captian Mr.W.T.King both well known Oundle families.
This tradition is emphasised by a number of fathers and sons who have played for the club during the years.
