With perfect playing conditions at Maesdu Road, the Goats continued their unbeaten run into the New Year with a bonus win against the visitors Caernarfon.
It was however the visitors who took an early lead after eight minutes with a converted penalty by Guto Pearce, and further increased this four minutes later with a try by Mac Jones.
The Goats now began to settle into there game, and on twenty two minutes a telling break by the three quarters resulted in Lloyd Evans scoring there first of there three tries.
The Goats continued to probe into the visitors half of play with the pace of there backs, and they gained a penalty just before the half time whistle which Oscar Lennon converted.
Within minutes of the restart the Goats were caught offside just inside of their own twenty two, giving Guto Pearce an easy conversion for the visitors which finalised their match scoring.
The Goats now were playing the match mainly inside of the visitors half, and this put some pressure on the defence with gaps beginning to appear, and it was on fifty five minutes that they finally broke through with good support play with Arthur Lennon scoring a try which he also converted.
The Goats forwards were getting the better of the exchanges with Dylan Coulter prominent giving the backs more match scoring chances, and it was from a line out won just on the visitors twenty two on seventy minutes of play that they sealed this hard fought win with a try by Arthur Lennon, giving them a maximum match winning result keeping them at the top of Division 1 North in their first match of the New Year.
