Llandudno opened the scoring after twelve minutes of play, when from line out that Lloyd Evans touched down for a try, which Ryan Pike converted for maximum points, and it was the same player after a strong attacking movement took play into the visitors for his second try just on twenty one minutes of play with an extra two points being added by Ryan Pike with the conversion.

This first half was one of Llan in control, and on the offensive, not allowing the visitors any opportunities of putting points on the board, and they finished it strongly with a Hugh Griffith try, and Ryan Pike converting.

At this stage it looked as if they would run away with the match during the second half, and increased their lead with another try by Morgan Lloyd from the restart, which Ryan Pike again converted.

They seamed to lose their attacking momentum by giving away to many penalties, and this allowed Mold to come back at them in the final quarter of play with two tries one by Jacko Oosterhazen, and Brian Kirby, one of which was converted by Jack Pearson.
