TRYIT and SHINE is a chance for junior players to:-
- try out and have a go at rugby league
- play in a team
- to excel and progress through the age groups to the highest
amateur level
Ovenden Rugby League Club is one of two nationally accredited Clubmark rugby league clubs in Calderdale and will be seeking Clubmark Gold status this Summer. Clubmark is the SPORT ENGLAND mark of high quality junior clubs and as a top club we are committed to:-
- coaches with national qualifications
- safe child protection procedures including anti-bullying policy
encouraging young people to take-up rugby league
- improve their talents, and,
- give an option to maintain participation in sport
TRYIT and SHINE is very much about our futures - yours and Ovenden Rugby League. It is to get you involved in:-
- the great game of rugby league. and,
- a top amateur community sports club
