INDOOR NETS STARTING SOON
Nets are for our under 13 and under 11s sections and begin in February for girls only and March for boys and girls!
Our main coaches this year will be Sam Arthurs and Lucy Gladdy.
Sam is a full time cricket coach.. He has worked with the Mercia u13, boys u15 and girls u11 county sides with Oxfordshire and was our main coach in 2017. He also runs private camps, 1-1 training and works in schools. Previous to that he has also worked with all age groups at his club (Bourton Vale), where he has now been appointed "head coach" of the junior and adult cricket, and played county age group cricket for Gloucestershire.
Lucy currently holds a UKCC Level 2 Cricket qualification.. Lucy played for Oxfordshire Cricket all the way from U11 to the "Senior Ladies" team until her move to study at Gloucestershire University (where she studies PE and Coaching and has been accepted onto a Coaching Scholarship), She was successful in making the Gloucestershire Women's Squad. Whilst living in Gloucestershire she has run a Chance-To-Shine programme in a local school.

We are really trying to encourage more girls to play cricket at the beginning and end of February half term this year, so please invite girls between aged between 7-13 to come to the two Girls only sessions in February in particular. Lucy is one of the county coaches for girls so we hope lots will take up the opportunity.

There will be a small charge per indoor net session to defray the costs (£3). These sessions are being financially supported by a generous grant from Bletchington Charity which enables us to keep costs low.
