Aubry was such an amazing person who touched and influenced so many lives. I was through the OH's that I was fortunate to meet him as his grandson played rugby with my son. They currently both play for the under 11's together. When we were in Wales on a minis tour, Aubrey commented on the difference between Welsh rugby and English rugby ar Club Level. He was not impressed by the lack of interest in Youth Rugby In Engand. This was to continue to be a source of discussion between the two of us for many months to come. In Ireland, a trip which Aubrey organised for our children, he was even more adament that something lacked in the way we promoted rugby amongst the younger players. This time he offered a suggestion that in England we lacked the courage of our convictions when it came to Youth Rugby. I had to agree. In Ireland, our team did slightl better but if it hadn't been for Aubrey then this trip wuld not have happened. In Sepember we are taking our children on yet another tour, this time to Scotland and Aubrey was looking forward to joining us. He won' be with us or perhaps he will. On Sunday, Our children were told by the coaches that they should paly in Aubrey's memory and that's exactly what they did. Usuallly aagainsy Wallingford, we are defeated outright. This certainly was not the case on Sunday. Aubrey and his support for the side was uppermost i our children's minds. They loved him and respected him too.

So for all of you who loved Aub as much as we did and do, then please write somthing here or attend his funeral at All Saints Church In Headington on Monday of next week.

    RIP. AND THANKS
