Alumni - Alumni Days
OUHC are keen to keep our alumni as involved in the club as possible. We would love to see our old members on the Iffley sideline, at the annual Varsity matches and in particular at our bi-annual alumni events.
In January 2012, OUHC hosted a dinner at Vincent's Club which was attended by over 60 of our recent alumni. The evening was a resounding success and the current members of the club were able to show the alumni that OUHC is as fun as ever and perhaps more importantly, still enforcing Thomas Whiteley's "OUHC rulebook".
June 2012 saw three alumni teams return to Iffley road to play our current members. Both the current Men's and Women's Blues teams managed to come out on top in some close (and enjoyable) games against the old members, whereas the old Occasionals showed the younger team how it is done in terms of hockey (though not necessarily in style- see the photos of the red beaters...)
