20 Nil victory handed to Paisley due to NS having to field overage players.

But Paisley folded, and folded badly. Discipline evaded the Renfrewshire team taking its toll on what patience the coaching staff had left after previous weeks performances.

Two interception tries in the first five minutes from NS created the perfect recipe for the visitors to fall to pieces with only Grant Cunningham actually wanting to get his hands on the ball and his determination culminated in the only try for Paisley.

At half time it was 22 - 5 and a raft of positional changes and substitutions were made, but it made little impact on a home team who were just too quick up in defence and hungry for the ball at the breakdown. Paisley allowed themselves to be bullied off the ball for the first 15 minutes of the second half, allowing another three tries to get past them.

Further substitutions were made and with the right four on the bench, Paisley started to click. Discipline returned and a more determined team started to batter at a stubborn and well organised defence. The last ten minutes were played inside NS territory and only a quick turnover spoiled it for the visitors with another NS try running the length of the field.

During this period the subs had to be sent to the Clubhouse, leaving Paisley with 15 men to get on with it against a better team.

Action has now been taken and the team can now look forward to getting back on track.

MOTM was close as Euan Milligan and David Adam both played stormers, but Grant Cunningham takes the award for having the right attitude from start to finish - well done.
