The gps were hoping to make the anchor grounds a fortress but unfortunately that wasn't going to happen after 10 minutes of battling in the rucks and mauls the visiting team got the first try plus conversion of the game.

Captain Lewis Kane and pack leader Lewis McGeachy got the gps fired up to take control of the game for the remainder of the first half. Half time 7 - 0 to against the home team. The second half started as the gps finished the first half with sheer domination in everything and the away team were finding it hard to deal with number 8 Lewis McGeachy but after 10 minutes the away team extended there lead with another unconverted try but this only made the gps work harder and with perfect line out throws from hooker Robbie Nichol and power house McGeachy stealing almost every line out ball from the opposition just made the gps the better team on the day but Fraser Brocket really stole the show by running up the wing past 5 players to score the home teams first try and fly half Sam Mackinnon was unlucky to be just short with the conversion.

Marc Douglas was next to cause all sorts of problems for the away team but after a steal from the maul the away team broke away to score another unconverted try. Winger Fraser Brocket scored his second try on the last play of the game and scrum half JordanTthorley missed the conversion. Full time gps 10 - 17 bishopton/clydebank. Great performances from all players but stand out player was lewis mcgeachy. The gps are looking to bring there never say die attitude to there next game.
