It gives me great pleasure and an enormous sense of pride to officially announce that Park Farm Puma FC have been awarded the Huntingdonshires FA Community award for Charter Standard Club of the year.

"We all know at least one person who makes a difference in our local community.

We are please to announce The FA Community Award winners 2015.

The FA Community Awards presented by McDonald’s aim to recognise and reward people across the country that make a difference to grassroots football in their local community – the people who dedicate their time to developing tomorrow’s young talent and help ensure safety and best practice in tens of thousands of clubs up and down the country.

The awards offer a chance to all those involved in grassroots football to shout about the person, or team of people that have made a real difference to their experience whilst playing or just being involved in the beautiful game.

The County winners below don’t just volunteer at a local club, they are the life and soul of it; they put their life into bettering the community and the lives of those people within it.

I personally want to thank all the players and parents for there amazing support but I want to call out all of the fantastic volunteers at our club - without whom we simply would not exist. We don't do this for thanks or trophies but it does mean so much to know that we are making a difference in the lives of the young footballers we coach.

Here's to another fantastic year for Pumas in 2015/16.
