IN OUR WEEKLY COLUMN, PARKGATE’S MANAGER, BILLY FOX, TALKS ABOUT THE IMPACT OF LAST WEEK’S POSTPONENT AT HAWORTH PARK, DEVELOPING HIS NEW GROUP AND THE VISIT OF HIGH-FLYING AFC MANSFIELD TO GREEN LANE ON SATURDAY...AND, AS YOU’D EXPECT, HE’ S GIVING NOTHING AWAY ON HIS LIKELY LINE-UP....writes Colin Muncie for the Parkgate Website

Foxy, the Hall Road Rangers postponement has given you, Richard and Ollie a bit more time with what's pretty much a new group of players. How has the last week gone?
We had a very good training session in the week. It’s a gradual process to formulate a style of play that all the team understand and it’s very much stop-start with the game being called off last Saturday.

Any selection issues for Saturday-injuries or absences?
Teams in the League always have players missing and injured and only mention it when they lose. It’s an opportunity for some of the other lads to step in and show what they can do.

It looks like another tough game against third-placed AFC Mansfield at our place on Saturday-what do you make of the Bulls and what can we expect at the weekend?
I know the Management at AFC so we won't be surprised how they play. They have put together one of the best squads in the league and will expect promotion this term. We will - as always - try to win the game and we realise we won't be able to make many mistakes. It is very difficult to develop the cohesion we require with so little game time - but the players are looking forward to the challenge

Remember, Rotherham United supporters not travelling to Blackpool can watch Foxy's boys take on AFC Mansfield for half-price on presentation of their Season Ticket at the gate.
