Opposition view on Saturday's game @ Handsworth.......

come and watch and support non- league football, and take us up on the reduced admission price's for the game

Gaffer Jas Colliver prepares to resume Handsworth Parramore’s pursuit of table –topping AFC Mansfield on Saturday when resurgent Parkgate visit Sandy Lane in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division -and Jas is expecting a rip-roaring clash for neutral and committed fans alike, writes Colin Muncie.

Jas told the Bootiful Game that he’ll be pretty much at full strength at the weekend “It’s a local derby that I envisage will be played in that manner. Both sets of players and management know each other, so it always adds a bit to the game. We have only one injury concern at the moment so as far as selecting a team we are in good health apart from a few bumps and bruises from Tuesday’s boxing session! Training this week has been great , the lads are keen to train and maintain their fitness levels so all being well we can take the positivity into Saturday’s clash without taking anything for granted”.

Jas has been keeping a weather eye on Green Lane and notes that things are looking up at Roundwood.” Billy and his staff have moved quickly to change things at Parkgate so we know how difficult this game will be” Jas warned,” looking at the team that had a tremendous result last Saturday against Bridlington”.

The Handsworth boss is keen to attract a big crowd at the weekend. “With no games on Saturday for the Sheffield clubs I’m hoping plenty of people come out and watch to support non- league football and take us up on the reduced prices for the game. Our support has been great so far this season with attendances increasing”.

“It’s £3 for adults on presentation of a valid SUFC or SWFC season ticket -and a quid a kid!
