Steelmen finish of friendlies confidently
Parkgate draw and lose out in final two matches but things are looking good
Last night Parkgate lost out 1-2 to Evo-Stick side Stcoksbridge Park Steels down at Roundwood.
Parkgate took the lead through Janni Lipka in the opening few minutes but were pegged back with goals from Daryl Weston either side of half time.
All attention now turn to this Saturday when Parkgate take on Winterton Rangers in the first game of the Baris NCEL season. Both sides finished around the same position last season so the match is shaping up to be a god contest, hopefully Parkgate can take confidence from the good football seen in the friendlies and bring back all three points from North Lincolnshire.
Up the Steelmen!
