Parkgate had several players missing with injuries before this encounter with Albion Sports and fell behind as early as the sixth minute when Karl Hall scored from close range. A long shot from Rhys Jenkinson on 12 minutes doubled their advantage. At half time Parkgate had nothing to show for their efforts.
A better performance from Parkgate in the second half saw them match their hosts but they were again found wanting in front of goal and with 10 minutes remaining Danny Facey raced into the penalty area to seal the victory.
A low key performance but a lot of passion was shown in the second half.
