Parkgate score four at Roundwood, to make it three win on the bounce for the Steelmen.

After almost a month away, Parkgate made sure their return to Roundwood was a victorious one, with a comfortable win over bottom of the table FC Bolsover.

After a relatively quiet opening 15 minutes, the game really came to life in the 16th, when Parkgate were awarded a free-kick on the edge of the Bolsover penalty area. From around 25 yards out, midfielder Simon Harrison subsequently stepped up and curled the ball over the wall and into the top left corner of Matthew Leese's goal, to put Parkgate one up. Numerous chances followed for the home side, but it wasn't until the 38th minute that the lead was eventually doubled. Following a cut back from Bruno Holden, the away side failed to clear their lines, and after the ball fell into the path of Reece Hands, the former Greenock Morton man duly side-footed the ball into the top right corner. This would see the two sides into the break, with the hosts comfortably, and deservedly, leading 2-0.

Half-Time: Parkgate 2-0 FC Bolsover

It didn't take long for the Steelmen to pick up where they left off in the first-half, and in the 55th minute they had their third goal of the day. This time Zak Khalifa got in on the act, when he fired a low right-footed strike past the keeper. However, FC Bolsover nearer enough immediately responded to Parkgate's third goal, when a swirling ball was swung in from the right-hand side, with Jack Warwick rising highest to head the ball back across the goal and into the back of the net.

Despite Warwick making the scoreline 3-1, this proved to be false hope, as in the 79th minute, Parkgate striker Bruno Holden all but secured the three points for the home side. The in-form striker picked up the ball around 20 yards out, and rifled a right-footed effort low into the Bolsover net.
