Today match was the first ever meeting we have had with Carshalton Athletic and it proved to be an entertaining match by two teams of similar abilities. The result was going to be either a draw or won by the odd goal.

Both teams had chances to win the match and on reflection a draw was a fair result.
Carshalton scored first as Kelly Amer parried save fell to the feet of the oncoming Carshalton forward who had to just tap the ball into the empty net.

Parkwood equalizer came following a penalty for a foul in the box on Emily Vaughan, Charlie Myhill stepped up to take the penalty, which was initially saved be the Carshalton keeper but was first to react and tapped in the loose ball for the equalizer.

This result is another point towards our first objective of staying in this league for next season.
