NOVEMBER

I have said in the past that this season is all about learning the league, rebuilding the squad and developing young players for the future. I have also said that in the terms of development I don't worry about results but prefer to look at bridging the gap between potential and performance and creating the environment for the 4C's to develop within the player's DNA.

Over the last month we have seen some good football produced by the players in training and on matchday's, this reflects the mood within the camp with players admitting they are enjoying themselves and the season so far.

The work put in by Harvey, Mark and the players has not gone unnoticed as two of our younger players received a late call up from the Kent FA to join their squad to face the Navy FA.

The team has three fixtures of 2017 remaining, two in the league cup and one in the league at the end of which we will know what we have in store for the remainder of the season in 2018.

Off the pitch we have been victims of vandalism with three of the four benches smashed and the netting infill being ripped, as a result we as a club have suspended the sales of advertising boards in case they get defaced, broken etc, we would have to broker the cost of replacements.

I have put a lot of time and effort into the ground improvement project and am committed to the stand being refurbished and will review what is best for the dugouts in the close season.

We have now purchased new raincoats and top up kit and also recieved a request to sponsor a new home kit for next season, something I will follow up in the new year.

It is also that time of the year the players wear their Christmas Jumpers- The team's Christmas party , Yes it back, Secret Santa, Parlour game's favourites, Music, Food & Drink.

Not much more to feedback on except that I will see the Parkwood faithful tomorrow.
