I would like to start by saying congratulations to the team for reaching the League Cup Final and a massive thank you everyone who came along and supported the team on the day, as always this is appreciated by the players. On a personal note, it was nice to see the players applauded you at the end of the match.

Since Sunday results there has been a lot of emails and conversations that have been going on behind the scenes around the final, and the upshot of them all is we have decided to release some money to try and make the day special for the players and our regular supporters.

The basic plan is to hire a coach to take everyone connected with the team for free, from Bexley Park to Maidstone United and bring everyone back for a light reception in the club house afterwards. More details will emerge nearer the time.

I have also spoken to Bexley Park and they have agreed to allow us to continue training on the astro turf until the end of April.

The players have been told that we are going focus on the remaining two league games and once they are out of the way, we will then be able to give our full attention towards the final.

Away from the cup final another matter to bring to people attention is the Annual Presentation Night. Over the next week or so I will be aiming to book a venue for our presentation evening, which I am hoping to arrange for mid-May.

Not much more to say for now except I will keep everyone up to date over the coming weeks and I will see the Parkwood faithful tomorrow.
