A massive well done to Ciaran who has progressed further to the next stage of England Schools FA trials following a successful 2nd trial playing for the North of England team.
He has now been selected for the 34 man squad to travel to Lilleshall for the final selection weekend process, where the squad will be reduced to a final 18 man squad (inc 2 GK's). This squad will then go on to compete for the televised Centenary Shield international tournament with Scotland, Wales, N Ireland and Rep of Ireland.
Ciaran is the only goalkeeper from the North of England to be selected for the final 34 man squad and he continues to show great dedication in his training, travelling from his home in Leeds for weekly (sometimes twice and 3 times a week !!) GK coaching sessions with us.
I wish Ciaran all the best in his upcoming final selection weekend at Lilleshall and I honestly see no reason why Ciaran shouldn't go all the way and make this final squad.
