With the forecast's predicting a balmy weekend, the Midlands 1 campaign continues for the 1st XV as they travel to Leicestershire to take on Coalville.
After impressing on their debut at this level last season, Coalville haven’t had the easiest of starts to the new campaign with their one win coming in the form of a 69-27 victory at Nuneaton Old Ed’s
However, everyone in this division is only too aware that on their day, Coalville present a potent attacking force with their side boasting some pacey and skilful players. Having thus far not performed to their potential, it will be up to the Paviors pack to stifle the supply of ball the Leicestershire side and ensure that Pavs remain in the top half of the table.
The 2nd XV take a break from league action as they make the short journey to Kelham Bridge to face Newark in the Notts Cup.
Having won the cup for the last two years, Pavs will be very keen to claim the treble. However, games with Newark have always been close affairs, often with either side …..Newark have so far started the season unbeaten and so this will be a stern test of Pavs title chances.
The 3’s entertain East Retford 2nd’s at Burntstump, as they look to continue their 100% win record in the league this season.
The HORNS travel to Beaston Rylands to take on Casuals 3’s
ALL GAMES 3pm K.O.
