Massive game for 1’s as they seek to reach the end of season play-off's

Paviors 1st XV travel to second place Kettering for one of their most important games of the season.

If Pavs are to have any hope of catching the home side - who sit one place and 7 points above Pavs – they really have to avenge the 28-30 defeat to Kettering at Burntstump earlier in the season. A victory would leave Pavs within 1 win of overtaking Kettering. Defeat, and the game would mean Kettering would have to drop 3 games, which given their excellent form so far this season seems unlikely.

As has become the norm this season, coach’s Rutherford and Eggleshaw will have to re-jig an injury hit pack. Talismanic Tom Studholme suffered an injury in mid-week training and will be missing for a few weeks. However, the back line remains settled with Rich Wilson returning from injury to be in contention for selection.

There are places on the team coach for any supporters wanting to travel. For details email w_oates@yahoo.com

The 2nd XV are without a game for the second week in a row as they were unable to find enough players to travel to Kettering – apologies to Kettering for this.

The 3’s are at home against Sheffield 3’s.

The HORNS are also at Home against Tupton 2nd’s.
