YOUNG REFEREES
We have an opportunity to unearth the next Luke Pearce (IRB 7’s Referee) or NLD’s Claire Hodnett (IRB Women’s International Referee)………
Mansfield RFC are kindly hosting a
RFU Young Officials Award
on Sunday 2nd September from 10 to 4pm
where any one between the ages of 14-19 years are invited to gain a qualification and skills to allow them to go out and take charge of games in local schools and clubs. Each candidate would be required to complete 10 hours of voluntary time. There are loads of opportunities existing within clubs and schools, with the RFU Community Rugby Coaches eagerly awaiting to support any new officials in gaining experience.
