P1 to P5 will attend mornings from 10am until 12noon.
P6 to S1 will attend afternoons from 1pm until 3pm.

Children are free to attend any or all days, at a cost of £5 per session. It is essential children are booked in advance to ensure we have appropriate cover.

Pre-season training continues on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Gytes with the new coaching team of Gavin Kerr and Drew Moore in charge along with strength and conditioning coach Phil Mack. It is hoped that we will have a good turnout as we get set for the new season on BT National League 1. If you are considering playing for the club please come along and make yourself known – you will be made most welcome.

Hay Lodge Lottery takes place again in the Eastgate Clubrooms at 6:00pm tonight. Last week’s selection was: Biggar, Jedburgh, Earlston, Duns, Kelso Harlequins and Hawick PSA

Again there was no lucky punter scooping the jackpot, this week the closest was Graham Irvine who had 4 lines out of the six.

Hay Lodge Pavilion
As part of the development of Hay Lodge as a top quality training and playing environment we are looking at doing some work on a couple of the changing rooms in August in preparation for the move to have all training sessions at Hay Lodge.

In conjunction with the RBS Rugby Force initiative which assists clubs in doing repairs and upgrades to facilities we are going to transform Changing Room 4 into a Team/meeting room with TV for viewing game footage, noticeboard for team lists/messages. There will also be facility for players/coaches to get a hot/cold drink before and after training, especially those who may have travelled some distance.

Changing room 3 will become a medical room with 2 physiotherapy beds, medical supply storage cabinets. This will help the physios treat the players better and quicker.

The plan to do this is combining it with a "players day" by getting Junior and Senior players up to Hay Lodge and do the work in 1 day.

Date: Saturday 9th August

1000hrs - 1200hrs - Colts and Under 16's attend Hay Lodge and clear the 2 changing rooms out and wash down the floors and walls in preparation for the next stage.

1300hrs - Finish (1600hrs) - Seniors attend at Hay Lodge to carry out painting of walls, fitting of work top, fit TV to wall and put all equipment in place.

1600hrs - Touch games, BBQ and drinks up at Hay Lodge

It goes without saying the more bodies we get there the less time it will take and we also need certain "tradesmen" there to complete some of the work. Worktop - Joiner. TV (sockets) - Electrictian

We will be assuming that all players are available to help unless they tell us otherwise - this is for you guys so please put the effort in.
