If you are considering playing for the club please come along and make yourself known – you will be made most welcome.

Match Reports
Last Friday Peebles RFC – sponsored by Glenrath Farms – took on Gala from the BT Premiership in a Booker Border League fixture. A powerful Gala side were too strong for the Peebles squad running out winners by 45 – 14.
Last Saturday the U16's – sponsored by BARC Taxis - and the Colts – sponsored by BARC Coach Hire - travelled West for another pre season friendly, this time against Whitecraigs RFC. Just after the warm up sessions has finished the heavens opened and both matches were played in monsoon like conditions - at one point the rain was failing horizontally!
The Colts built on their good work from last week with impressive line outs and powerful forward play to win by 12 points to 0. The U16's having 'borrowed' three players to make up a 15-a- side held a 31-17 lead before an injury to a Whitecraigs player halted play with 10 minutes left on the clock. Both squads still have room for improvement but well done lads! Many thanks to Whitecraigs for hosting us.

Hay Lodge Lottery takes place again in the Eastgate Clubrooms at 6:00pm tonight. Last week’s selection was: Hawick, Peebles, Walkerburn, Earlston, Langholm and Kelso Harlequins
Again there was no lucky punter scooping the jackpot, this week the closest, for the second week in a row, were Adam Clark and Colin Deveney who had 4 lines out of the six.

Tonight and until Sunday Peebles Rugby Club will host the first Borders Beer Festival. Real ales, beer and cider from the Borders and beyond will be available.
