Match Reports
Peebles RFC – sponsored by Glenrath Farms – won a pulsating game at the Gytes against Dundee HSFP in BT National League 1 by 26 – 9. Leading 11 – 3 at half time Peebles lost their way a bit early in the second half allowing Dundee to close to 11 – 9 with two penalty goals – however 3 second half tries to add to Cal Scott’s first half score gave them the bonus point win allowing them to rise to fifth in the table – leapfrogging their opponents by virtue of a better points difference.
The seconds – sponsored by FIRST XV and rugbystuff.com – were disappointed when their match with Lasswade 2nds in BT Reserve League East 1 at Hawthornden was cancelled when the home side could not raise a team. Peebles 2nds were awarded a bonus point win in the league.
The Colts – sponsored by BARC Coach Hire – travelled down to the Volunteer Park in Hawick to take on the Wanderers in the Borders Semi-Junior league – however the boys lost heavily 55 - 7 suffering a number of injuries in the process.

Peebles Piranhas - Last weekend saw the cancellation of the Hawick mini rugby tournament due to the weather. It is always a reluctant decision to call a tournament off and hopefully it can be reorganised for this weekend. Year group coaches will be in touch once more information is available.
Training will be at the usual time of 10am for P1-2 at Haylodge'

Events - Tomorrow, Saturday 25th, Peebles Hockey Club is holding a coffee morning in the Eastgate clubrooms between 10am and 12pm – usual stalls.
