Tomorrow Peebles RFC – sponsored by Glenrath Farms – have a break for Christmas. The Seconds play Selkirk at Hay Lodge Park in the Borders 2nd XV Cup – kick off is at 3:00pm.
The Colts – sponsored by BARC Coach Hire – were due to have an away fixture at Scremerston to play Berwick Colts in the Borders Semi-Junior League but this has been called off. The Colts management have now managed to re-arrange the fixture Selkirk Youth Club postponed last Saturday – this will take place at the Gytes with a 2pm kick off.

Match Reports
Last Saturday Peebles RFC – sponsored by Glenrath Farms – made the short journey up to Hartree Mill to play Biggar in BT National League 1. Drew and Gavin’s squad were looking for revenge in this the second meeting of these two local rivals, having lost out at the Gytes in September. In a tight game, as these matches often are, the result went right down to the wire when, with the scores tied at 10 each, and the fans of both sides chewing fingernails down to the quick, Biggar conjured up a drop goal in injury time, with what proved, effectively to be the last kick of the game, to make the score 13 – 10.
The Colts match with Selkirk Youth Club was postponed when the visitors’ squad was struck down by a virus leaving them unable to raise a side.

Events
Tonight Friday 26th December – the Eastgate Clubrooms is the venue for a Boxing Day disco from 9:00pm till 1:00am – entry is £5.

Tomorrow Saturday 27th December - there will be a darts and doms session in the Eastgate Clubrooms.
