A superb performance gave Pelsall Villa a 2-1 victory against Heather St. Johns in the league last night.
Early 1st half goals from Dan Scragg and Ryan Wilkins gave Villa the advantage which they held until half time. A scrambled goal mid-way through the 2nd half gave the visitors momentum to push for an equaliser but a great team performance saw the Villains hold on for a well-deserved victory. Despite the heavy pitch, Villa continued to play good football and their reputation is quickly growing as one of the best footballing teams in the league.
The match was the first in a run of 6 consecutive home games with a fixture against Bolehall Swifts next up on Saturday 11th February, kick off 3pm at the Bush Ground.
