Pelsall Villa suffered their second defeat of the Easter weekend as Hinckley ran out 6-1 winners at The Bush.
Villa gave a debut to 16-year-old goalkeeper Joe Williams and he pulled of 3 superb first half saves before Hinckley took the lead. A well worked free kick saw them double their advantage and two further goals seemed to have the match tied up before half-time. But Villa gradually came in to the game and a storming run out of the heart of defence by Josh Small saw the big centre back played in with a delightful one-two with Dan Scragg to give Pelsall a lifeline.
The hosts came out strong in the second half and had chances to reduce the deficit but the visitors have a big budget to keep them in this league and their superior fitness saw them score two further goals to secure a comfortable win.
Tan Katsukunya again put in a performance that belies his 17-years and with four teenagers in the starting line-up, Pelsall have some positives to take into next season.
The defeat leaves Pelsall 4 points adrift from safety with a win needed in both their remaining games. Villa visit Lichfield City on Saturday 22nd April in their penultimate game of the season.
