What a Try Fest - Weekend Round Up
The Firsts, Seconds and Miner Birds ran in an amazing 23 tries this weekend (11 for the Troop alone) with 3 bonus point league wins.
The firsts started slowly against Tredegar but soon found the try line in a 45 - 23 win.
The 2s travelled to Glynneath and came back with a thumping 0 - 67 scoreline.
The fledgling Miner Birds are starting to gel as a team and also ran in 6 tries at Barry to make it 10 points from 10 with a 7 - 36 victory.
The youth also emerged victorious at Sue Noake - beating Caerphilly 24 - 5 in their first league game of the season

Minis added to that sunday. 11's pitching in with 17 tries. and 10's with 11.
u16s scored 7, plus had 4 disallowed! tries all over the place!
It was a very good weekend all round. I think only one age group lost across the whole club! The future's Blue & Gold....
