What's holding it up at the moment is that a sewer has been discovered running from Stanwell Road to Victoria Road - under the tennis courts, rugby pitch and the flats. The School had no knowledge of the sewer, or the alleged manhole cover that is supposed to be in the middle of the rugby pitch!!

The School are waiting for a cctv camera to check that the sewer is functional and that it is safe to build on. Once this has been done (and everything is OK) then the diggers can move in.

The School are trying our best to get it going because the contractors tell them that the longer they wait the more likely is that the weather will have an impact on how quickly it can be completed.
