History
Pengam Pigeon FC were formed in 2006 following a long absence of a football team in Pengam. The team play in the Taff Ely and Rhymney Valley Sunday Senior League and are currently in the Premier Division.
The teams HQ are Pengam Constitutional Club (aka The Pigeon Club), which is in the village of Glan y nant. The team is primarily made up of local lads from Glan y nant, Tir y berth and Cefn Fforest.
At present, home games are played at Ystrad Mynach Park football field and the home changing facilities are at Ystrad Mynach College.
Over the past few seasons the team has kindly been financially supported by Pengam Con Club and also has received sponsorship from local business persons. The clubs main sponsor is Valley Water Services and the away kit is sponsored by Thompson Services and the Fireside Coffee Lounge.
