After the disappointment of last weeks game being cancelled by Amlwch , another trip to the top of the island is on the cards this weekend. It's almost a trip into the unknown for me as we take on promoted Cemaes Bay . It seems they've had a mixed season with some close games - and like everybody else in this league , they are capable of beating anyone on their day.

Although we will be without several players , I've every confidence in the squad we'll take. The lads have trained really well this last fortnight - great turn outs and lots of smiling faces. They've taken everything on board as we look to adjust our game a little and look sharp. In fact , if training is anything to go by I've no doubt there will be a positive and competitive performance by the lads.

The group should be boosted by the fact that several lads have been selected to face mid Wales with the NWCFA in the regions cup . I have great pride in congratulating Dion,Scotty ,Dazzie , Dan Wills and Alfie in being selected. I'm sure there are others in the squad that are good enough to be selected and I'm already looking forward to the next squad announcement . To have so many selected shows the progress the club and players are making despite our recent run of poor results. I still feel regardless of the teams around us with games in hand that the race for promotion is still wide open . There's a long way to go In this league that is totally unpredictable but I'm confident we are close to a return to form and hopefully we will find it this next couple of weeks.

Away games have been difficult this season - it would be great to see some support for the lads as it really lifts them.
