Manager Jim Nichols is expecting the Bonny Blues to carry on where they left off when we take on Sunderland RCA in Northern League Division 1 on Tuesday evening, 7.45pm kick off.
Goals from Elliott Bousfield and Johnny Murray saw off a very strong West Auckland Town side in the FA Cup at Frenchfield Park on Saturday and Nichols was full of praise with the performance.
"I was delighted with the result on Saturday, we are pleased with the additions to the squad and we feel we're an improved side.
The lads worked hard and created chances and although we came under under a lot of pressure second half, I thought we defended excellently and Stu (Dixon) wasn't really tested."
Looking ahead to the game, Nichols expects a tough match especially after the 2 sides were well matched last season.
"Sunderland RCA will be a tough game on Tuesday and will test us again with Martyn (Coleman) still missing."
