Manager Jim Nichols is expecting the Bonny Blues to carry on where they left off when we take on Sunderland RCA in Northern League Division 1 on Tuesday evening, 7.45pm kick off.
Goals from Elliott Bousfield and Johnny Murray saw off a very strong West Auckland Town side in the FA Cup on Saturday and Nichols was delighted with the performance.
"I was delighted with the result on Saturday , we are pleased with the additions to the squad and we feel we're an improved side.
The lads worked hard and created chances and although we came under under a lot of pressure second half, I thought we defended excellently and Stu (Dixon) wasn't really tested."
Looking ahead to the game, Nichols expects a tough match especially after the 2 sides were well matched last season.
"Sunderland RCA will be a tough game on Tuesday and will test us again with Martyn (Coleman) still missing."
