1ST XV beat local rivals Wigton at Winters Park 36-12 in NW 1 with 6 tries by Jamie McNaughton (2) Ed Swale JJ Key Kris Bratton and Darren Lee. Pale Tuilagi added 3 conversions,
2ND XV won a tight game at Kendal 30-26 with tries by Jon Fell (2) and Phil Armstrong with Ross Jackson kicking 3 conversions and 3 penalties.
Vags began their season with a fine 43-12 win at Keswick with tries by Alex Jackson (4) Phil Ramsden (2) Mike Robinson and Darren Richardson. One conversion by Gav Davis and 2 penalties by Ben Ramsden.
