PENRITH MAKE MAJOR SIGNING - George Graham

PRESTON DELIGHTED AS GEORGE GRAHAM SIGNS

Penrith rugby club are pleased this week to announce the signing of scrum half George Graham from Scottish BT Premiership League Club Gala. Penrith Head Coach David Preston says "we are delighted with this move and feels it shows our intentions to move forward and really push on this next season, we see George as the catalyst we need to really bring things together and add the final spark to our squad which has fallen just short in the last two seasons".
25 year old Graham played his rugby originally at Carlisle but for the last six seasons has played at Gala in the Scottish Premiership, this season he won their Player of the Year award and is an integral part of the side playing in 23 of their 28 games. He has however being finding the travelling onerous and as he lives at Carlisle and works at Tata at Shap Penrith rugby club is perfectly positioned to fit in with his plans. He says he's "looking forward to a new opportunity and a fresh challenge"
