PRUFC YOUTH COACHING SESSION

PRUFC Youth Coaching Session Wed 18th July 6.30 pm - 8.30 pm
Guest Coach 1st XV Head Coach Bill Laidlaw

The 2nd coaches get together is this Wednesday, an agenda has been sent out to all coaches. If you have not received the information or are a team manager, volunteer, parent etc you are more than welcome.
The session will look at
1. "How we play" so we have a consistent style throughout the club
2."How we coach" with practical demos including conditioned games (bring your kit!)

Just a note to say thanks to Nigel firstly for arranging the under 13's outreach session that resulted in 22 players turning up last night. Around 15 were brand new to the club! Also to Bill Laidlaw for the coaches workshop after - superb info for novice coaches and I suspect more experienced ones too - questions, questions, questions! I suspect the one drill where you freeze the play will be replicated by all the coaches who saw it yesterday as it made the players instantly aware of the space and threat around them - superb!
And lastly for Nigel's getting the wine sorted - even that was good so all in all great few hours. Thank you.
