Penycae fall at racecourse
Penycae failed in their in attempt to lift the league cup.
Penycae failed in their attempt to win the league cup final at wrexham football club.
The game started with penycae on the front foot and creating chances at will,only for some good goalkeeping from the borras keeper and poor finishing from Penycae kept the score at 0-0, until the 4th minute of stoppage time when the penycae defence failed to clear a corner and the booras midfielder shot into the corner. HT 0-1. the goal just before half time seemed to have knocked penycae's confidence and borras pounced on that and opened up a 2 goal lead, this seemed to wake penycae up,and after a good move alex rowlands struck the ball into the bottom corner. instead of lifting penycae,they seemed to be lifeless and conceeded another goal,with penycae chasing the game, borras scored another on the break to make the final score 4-1. After a long season, the boys can be proud of their efforts in their 1st season in 11-a-side football,finishing runners up in the league and league cup.
