It's Newcastle Chemfica at home on Saturday in what will be our final Northern Alliance league game of 2018 and it would be good to end the year well, following last weekend's 1-0 win at Ponteland United. Kick off is 2pm.

This will be our 20th league game of the season, more than any other side in the top division and once completed, will mean that we are 2/3 through our league season. Already!
(Last season we had played 20 by the back end of February and with the 'Beast from the East' still to come, it would be the beginning of April by the time number 21 was played!)

Mind its forecast to be a bit chilly, come Saturday, so says the weatherman. Snow say some, but let's hope that as usual, that ends up elsewhere.....

Chemfica had a fairly emphatic 6-2 win over The Main the last time the sides met, just over a couple of months ago. Chemfica scored 3 times in between the 37th minute and the half time whistle through Steve McLaughlin (2) and Chris Homans.
The now departed Ben Senior came off the bench and scored twice in quick succession for Percy, but further goals for the home side's Alex McKitterick and Sam Grieveson (2) sealed the win.

Those who have sold their Christmas draw tickets, (the draw is on the 23rd, a week on Sunday) but just in case the weather is nasty, please bring the stubs and money.
